My story
I am Karolina — a mother, a wife, a working woman…
and like so many others, I spent a long time putting
my own needs aside.
I was always rushing, feeling exhausted and stressed,
often irritated…
and burdened with guilt for being a “bad mother”
because I no longer had the time or the energy
to be truly present for my daughters.
On autopilot, I wasn’t truly living anymore —
I was simply surviving.
So I searched for what I needed most:
a moment of calm in the middle of the chaos,
a precious pause to breathe, reconnect with what truly matters,
and find inner peace — without anger and without guilt.
My mission
From this personal journey, Creating Kalm was born.
My wish is to offer women what I once searched for myself:
a space to slow down, breathe, and find balance in everyday life.
In a world that constantly pushes us to rush,
Creating Kalm is an invitation to pause, to listen to yourself,
and to take care of yourself with kindness.
Through my boxes, mystery books and reading accessories,
I guide women in the art of turning simple moments
into meaningful rituals.
A warm cup of tea, a handmade candle, a surprise book,
a delicate bookmark… small gestures that remind us
how essential gentleness is, and that it always begins with ourselves.
Creating Kalm is a project of the heart,
inspired by my family (Karolina, Aurélien, Léna, Miya — KALM),
for whom I wanted to change, grow and build a more aligned life.
But it is also driven by a deep desire to bring together women
who give so much to others, yet too often forget themselves.
My mission is simple:
to help exhausted and overwhelmed women reconnect with themselves,
rediscover lightness,
and relearn how to savour the small things in everyday life.
Creating Kalm is not just a shop — it is an invitation to cultivate serenity,
